Just like to say, Joanna, that I really enjoyed your talks on Ventura and also chatting to you. (I am the lady who wrote to you on the ship about calcium and walking through my GP). I have absorbed such a lot of information from your talks and I now have a more positive approach to losing weight and feeling better. You said that in your 60s and 70s a good exercise to do is Tai Chi for balance. The first letter I opened when I got home was for a course of Tai Chi so I went to my first class yesterday. I really enjoyed it and going to keep it up. Also there is a Nia class which I would like to attend and wonder what your thoughts are on this. As I live in Carlisle, Cumbria, have you any plans to visit this area at all for Walkactive?

Re: Tai Chi
HI!
How lovely to hear from you and I am so glad you enjoyed my Talks on Ventura! And how fabulous about the Tai Chi - obviously meant to be. We are planning to come to Cumbria - we are just trying to tie down a date / venue for one of my Walking Spa breaks - we are looking to have these all in place by Middle of December and we will announce these first in my newsletter - which I know you subscribe too. Keep us posted on how you get on with the Tai Chi and thank you for sharing your positive experience with us - I hope to walk with you soon! Warm wishes, Joanna x |
