Walking Shoes
I'm often asked for advice about what shoes to use when walking or undertaking other forms of movement.
Questions range from what is best to walk in and what supports the foot the most, to what trainers to buy and latest trends. The answers are that there are a lot of shoes on the market, designed and developed for you to use during exercise. I have my preferences and recommendations which I will share with you below, I find that some lend themselves better to specific exercise programmes and personal ability, others to different sports or to those who are fans of more advanced exercise! No shoe will do the work for you - but certain shoes can be a lot more comfortable and allow you to relate to the "educational cues" involved when mastering my Walkactive™ technique.
I have a selection of different shoes in the SHOP including those which are great to learn my Walkactive technique in due to their wider forefoot style. Their design is based on the principle that being barefoot is the healthiest way for your feet to be, and the more flexible puncture resistant sole allows you foot to become more "active" as you progress along your Walkactive journey.
