Events and Courses
As between you and us, all events, courses and activities will be organised and run by Joanne Hall Lifestyle Management Limited.
We are all busy bees and it may be that you have an urgent commitment that arises at short notice. No problem at all.
If you wish to cancel your event or course booking please do so at least one week in advance for a full refund of your fee.
Otherwise please inform us of cancellations at least 48 hours before the start of your event or programme so we may refund 50% or we may be able to move your booking to a different date strictly at our discretion.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of your event we will not be able to refund your fee but still may consider moving your booking to a different event for the same value. Where the course fee is more than the fee you have already paid you will be required to pay any balance when re-booking. This is subject to free places on alternative events or courses and individual circumstances. The decision is at our discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel events and change venues or dates for our courses and events if unforeseen circumstances arise. Such circumstances may include a trainer not being available to run the course or bad weather preventing the course from taking place. We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and where appropriate we will offer to rebook or refund the cost of your course.
We love sharing pictures of our events and sometimes will be inviting along our photographer to capture our special Walkactive moments and successes.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to photograph and film events for training purposes as a training aid to assess your progress and for publicity use on Joanna Hall websites and publicity materials.
Should you prefer not to be photographed please notify us in writing prior to your event taking place.
You agree that all photographs and films taken by us or on our behalf shall belong to us and we can use them in any manner we want to without reference or liability to you.
We take your enjoyment and effectiveness of our activities at Joanna Hall very seriously.
We offer a wide range of activities for all ages and stages of your life and we want you to get the very most from each event. Certain medical conditions may restrict the activities you can enjoy and it is vital that you complete the Health Questionnaire and return it to us either online prior to you attending any of Joanna Hall’s and Walkactive activities or by bringing it to your first session. Should the questionnaire not be returned to us prior to your event we reserve the right to cancel your place.
You must also re-complete the Health Questionnaire should any medical conditions you have previously notified us of change or you subsequently start to suffer from or are diagnosed with a medical condition you were not aware of when you originally completed the Health Questionnaire.
Certain medical conditions stated on your Health Questionnaire may mean we recommend that you do not proceed with your activities without your doctor’s written approval being provided to us prior to you participating in an activity. We reserve the right to refuse your participation in an activity owing to medical conditions of which you have made us aware. However, ultimately it is your sole responsibility for ensuring you are healthy enough to participate in the activities and if you do participate in an activity we will not accept liability for any injury, discomfort or complications suffered during or in relation to any event or course whether or not you have made us aware of any existing or previous medical conditions.
Given the advice above, if you would like to proceed with activities you will do so entirely at your own risk.
Of course nothing seeks to limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
You may cancel any order for non-customized products free of charge and without giving us any reason, provided it has not yet been shipped by written notice to such effect served to Joanna Hall Lifestyle Management Bridge Studio, Timber Wharf, 240b Kingsland Road, London E2 8AX and clearly marked “Order Cancellation”.
